How many Engineers at Redhotpawn
How many engineers at Redhotpawn? Engineers? Yes, people who type the moves into the box (Fritz) and then demolish all opposition and reach the first page. Is there any game moderation taking place? Many would disagree any sort of game modding goes on. How do you tell an engineer?

Ask someone like greenpawn34 or Fat Lady to give you the Fritz matchups for the players on the site. They have been given to the admins but the admins don't want any bannings as the players are subscribers who pay money.

ReplyDelete1) Weyerstrass (undefeated despite of playing against many banned cheats - it's impossible without engine assistance, according to one game ex-moderator he has been found guilty by game moderators some years before, but RHP admins didn't act)
2) Nowakowski (rapid improvement from absolute beginner [August 2008] up to 1900 rated RHP player one year later)
3) Gatecrasher (rapid improvement from 1500 [March 2004] up to 2100 [April 2005])
4) no1marauder (1500 OTB rated player can't reach 2100 level in CC without engine assistance).
5) Rajan (read his profile information)
6) Altern8 (his OTB rating is about 2000 - too low to believe his RHP performance without engine assistance)
7) Irfan21 (rapid improvement from 1800-1900 [January 2008] up to 2200 [March 2008] )

ReplyDeleteIts laughable how the forum mods delete discussions. The following was removed from the chess forum how to detect engine cheats This discussion is really interesting. I brought up the case of "the rapid rise" of an individual and I got several p.m's from Forum Moderator titled Thread Removed yet it was a simple discussion on "rapid chess improvement".
ReplyDeletePerhaps we need forum moderators who are actually rated above 1300 so that they can participate in meaningful chess discussions. Carlsen's rise to the top would make news on ChessBase but on here it is muzzled.
Perhaps these (chess) forums are going to become like the one's at Gameknot but people are free to ramble aimlessly in General.
The reply to Mariska Angela's post "You accused someone of being a cheater indirectly and you are whining about the mods?" There was no accusation of cheating directly or indirectly. It is just mentioning the fact that they were losing to weak players two months ago and since they joined. If you are ranked 2400 on this site and 1500 OTB - that is a FACT, if you are losing to 1200s today and 2000 by Christmas is that a FACT! No amount of spin will distort the facts. I'm coming out like Margaret Thatcher here.
It would be good to post here all cheating evidence deleted by RHP Forum Censorship.
ReplyDeleteWhy doesn't Redhotpawn maintain a list of banned engineers? This is the list of engineers at chess.com Perhaps there are so many engineers at RHP because they have been kicked out of other sites.
